But when a mysterious note is planted in her purse, Liz is in for the adventure of a lifetime. And she gets to solve more than one mystery with a cute sidekick named Cole. In between dance lessons, the Siren of the Sea contest, and lots of ice cream, will Liz and Cole become more than friends? Will she be able to help a staff member accused of theft?
Cruising through the ABC Islands, Aruba, Bonaire, and Curacao provides the perfect backdrop for Liz’s self-exploration, which is the key to solving the mysteries. With a little help from a certain Grandma Millie, a novena to Jesus, and Cole, Liz might become the next Nancy Drew, without all the head injuries. Leslea Wahl is a master writer, and you will enjoy this book and the rest of her oeuvre as much as I did. Charting the Course is for teens and young adults. As always, there is nothing inappropriate in my recommendations of good Catholic fiction. This is a sweet, light romance mystery that won the Catholic Media Association 1st place award in the YA category.
